.::. Wanting and Waiting .::.

Shining outward with a smile so grand
Looking inward on a heart so damaged
Eyes piercing always into my land
Seeking emotions never left stranded

Wanting and waiting
Patient and nervous
Shaking and shrinking
Insistant and curious

Lost amongst a pool of you so deep
Tip of the iceburg is all we've reached
Can not begin to fathom how far I've leaped
To merely breach through your keep

Wanting and waiting
Patient and nervous
Shaking and shrinking
Insistant and curious

Hi, just wanted to drop a line and tell you how much I've enjoyed your poetry. This one is good and I particularly like the refrain. Look forward to more, take care.
